| This topic consist a wide range of events that could be arranged by the Fablewind Faire. Check this topic once in a while since it will be growing in size and in accurate information! Since the list is growing so large I made an index:
Index. 1. Night of the Stories. 2. The Parade. 3. Spa-blewind Faire 4. Fable Race 5. Feast of the Faire 6. Fablewind Fishing 7. The Market 8. Circus Fablewind 9. Fablewindter Veil 10. Theme Parties 11. A Day at the Beach
Events. 1. Night of the Stories. About: A story telling night. The crowd is split up in different groups and each group tries to make up its own story. To make up the story everyone gets a certain amount of time. When the time is up, one person of each groups steps in front to tell a story and the group with the best story wins a prize. It is possible to add themes such as a romantic theme or a horror theme, which the stories in some way must follow. Needed: Campfires, Snacks, Drinks, Teamleaders. Place: Just outside of one of the greater cities, One of the starting areas, Places that fit the type of story (Duskwood for thrillers for instance) Fablewind Caravan Camp. Levels: All
2. The Parade. About: This will be about walking through the cities of Azeroth and get people to notice the Faire. We will walk around in one or multiple groups wearing our flashy tabarts and faire-outfits showing a few small tricks and tell people about the Faire. We make music and dance to get the attention needed. We can also pass around toys, snacks or flowers in the colours of the Faire to help get attention. A good idea might be to all take a pet with us: colourful birds, murlocs, moths etc. Someone could ride an Elekk for massive impact. Needed: Tabards, Fair-outifts, Small tricks and gifts. Place: Crowded places and Capital cities. Levels: All
3. Spa-blewind Faire About: Sometimes we all just need a day off from all the chaos and stress surrounding us. And what better way to do so is there then spending a few hours at the spa?! Azeroth knows many pools and springs of different kinds, yet no one seems to use them. Until now ofcourse! Using natures blessing, we can spend a nice day chatting while we give our muscles, skin and mind a refreshing treatment. A nice idea might be to also arrange people giving massages. Needed: Spa-outifts (robes, slippers, swimwear), snacks, drinks, towels. Place: Hotsprings of Winterspring, Hotsprings of Un'Goro, Pools of Stranglethorn Vale Levels: 30 and up (depends on the place)
4. Fable Race About: The Fable Race is all about people competing for fun and small prizes. By giving people hints or questions to answer, you can direct them to certain places in Azeroth. Once they find a place, they find a GameLeader who gives them a new hint or question. This way the people participating get send all over the globe untill they reach the final destination. The one who arrives first wins a prize. A nice idea might be for one GameLeader to send people on a quest to buy certain vendor sold items and bring them to the next GameLeader. This Second GameLeader then takes the item and in return gives a new hint or question about the next destination. Another nice idea might be to let people form groups of two or three. An objective then ofcourse is to finish the race with a complete group. Needed: GameLeaders, a well-designed-plan about the destinations. Place: Azeroth Levels: Depends on the destinations involved.
5. Feast of the Faire About: The Feast of the Faire is all about food. There are lots of ideas that fall under this type of event. From cosy barbeques to fancy dinners. From frieing patatoes on a stick to baking contests. From exotic food exchanges to tea ceremonies to picknicks. We can do it all. Needed: Food, Cooks, Campfires, Drinks Place: Inns, Lakeshire on the bridge, Forest at one of the starting areas. Levels: All
6. Fablewind Fishing About: A simple yet very effective roleplaying event could be a fishing tournament. And even if you dont feel like having a contest-like event, you could arrange this just to have a day out fishing with some friends. Azeroth knows many waters, so it could be almost anywhere. One type of fishing that might be great would be ice fishing. Or what about deepsea fishing? Its all possible! You could end the event by preparing and eating the fresh fish that is caught that day. We could also hand out prizes for 'most odd catch', 'coolest catch', biggest catch in size' etc. Needed: Fishing Profession (!), Fishing supplies, Snacks, Drinks, Prizes Place: Dun Morogh for ice fishing, Menethil Harbor for harbor fishing, Auberdine, Lakeshire, Dustwallow Marsh, Loch Modan Levels: All
7. The Market About: The name probably speaks for itself: selling wares of all kinds. We try to collect and produce nice and interesting items that interests the crowd. This doesnt have to involve real money and real tangible items. It can all be fiction, using emotes. Needed: Sellable items, vendors Place: Caravan Camp at the Stormwind Docks, near the Stockade in Stormwind, The Stormwind Park Levels: All
8. Circus Fablewind About: People from the guild show their special tricks to an audience. This is a really tough event to arrange because there are so many people involved, so think twice! The circus could consist of snack vendors, drink vendors, gift vendors, a leading man/lady (probably dressed in a black suit with a hat), a magic show, an exotic pet show, the strong woman, clowns, etc. Everyone just does what he or she is good at while following a good scedule. Giving one show involves a lot of creativity and stressmanagement. Since a circus normally consists of multiple shows, it makes this type of event really hard to put together. An idea might be to have a Circus Week, with on every day one or two shows. Needed: A lot of willing people, showguys and showgirls, leading lady or leading man, vendors Place: A theater kind of place, Capital Cities Levels: All
9. Fablewindter Veil About: The Feast of Winter Veil, also called the feast of Great-Winter, is an ingame event. This is a great time for the Faire to add its own event and to let Winter Veil be even more alive. Think of a nice walk through the snowcovered lands, just having a great time enjoying the snowflakes falling from the sky. We could end the event with a snowball fight and after that build a huge fire and drink eggnog and eating cookies. Ofcourse instead of staying outside we could also enter a nearby inn. Needed: Eggnog, Cookies, Fires (optional), Snowballs Place: Dun Morogh Levels: All
10. Theme Parties About: This event is all about parties with special themes. Ofcourse we could list parties for the ingame-events here too, but they get a separate place in the list. Think about parties with everyone dressed in the same colours or about a party with a beach theme. Also there is the Ladies Night theme, the Gnome Only theme etc. There's many ways to go. A nice idea might be to add a 'Nicest costume' contest. Needed: Food, Drinks, Contest-panel Place: One of the greater cities, Inns, Dalaran (restrictions to this city) Levels: All
11. A Day at the Beach About: It is really simple, this event is about relaxing and having fun. You could compare it to the Spa-blewind Faire event. It is hot, the sun is shining and there is a light breeze comming from the ocean. Everyone brings their tanning lotion, towels and leather balls to play with. Oh and ofcourse dont forget your bathing suit, unless you want to make it a skinny-dipping event! Cocktails always do well on a trip to the beach especially combined with a barbeque! Needed: Umbrella's, Tanning Lotion, Towels, Swimwear, Leather Balls, Campfires, Slippers, Snacks, Alcohol Place: Stranglethorn Vale, Tanaris (The beachside of Tanaris doesnt know aggressive animals so this might be the best place) Levels: All (depends on the destination: Tanaris = all. Stranglethorn Vale = 30 and up)

| Whoa, a lot of things. Some of them we have already discussed, but thanks you for setting it up that simple. It really helps on the overview and memory. I think it will be easier to split them up one by one and discuss further, but right now I am at school, so I'll reply when I get back home | |

This is one of the soon to come events, that's for sure and it's something we can do more than once too. But as we talked about, we will need a little practice and that'll be in the caravan/camp at the harbor. Question is only: when do people have the time for it?

Derran and I started up the guild in this way. We got the signatures IC'ly by doing so and we got in a few members. It's absolutely a great strategy, but I hope that it'd be even bigger if we could be more than 2 people. Also, I think we should have a pet each to make it look more impressing. Just picture the troupe show up with colourful birds, murlocs, moths and so on. I think it'd look nice if somone rode in front on a mount (Elekk would make it look AWESOME!) and then somone behind tossed rockets, somone emoted music plays and somone else shared out beautiful wildflowers, which actially is purple and orange in a cute bouquet We should make an intro rhyme and THEN we would rock!

I think this should be saved for one of the "in the future ideas" till when we are a bit larger (we hopefully will grow into a larger group of cool people) and then we perhaps could use it as a private party idea for just us in the faire? At least as a start, then we could invite other out for it if it turns out as a success Yasmien often has been bathing in the hot wintersprings, it is a pretty, but a bit dangerous place for low lvls.

This is actually exactly what I thought we should try make on Azuremyst Isle at Isaak's draenei thanks giving party! But as you say, it needs somone to spread out on the posts and we need to make questions. But else it's for sure a realistic and creative event. We made such an event RL at my 20 yrs birthday party xD With questions about rock bands and so on.. out on cemetaries and find specefic graveyards to find out which year a specific couple died at and so on.. it was -absolutely- hillarious and I bet it could be IG too!

This is a splendid idea! I think it especially would be nice as a summer event and make a bbq party on Stranglethorn Beach and then bring leather balls with us and perhaps add a pearl diving contest where we need to find as many pearls at the reef as possible on time. The one who wins can get a funny prize

How about along the Duswallow marsh bay or Loch modan? I used to fish the most ODD things in Dustwallow and we could give some different prizes for "most odd catch" "coolest catch" "quantity" and so on. This is one of the easiest events to create, so I think we should bring it on soon!

I hope that merchants of the faire are so independant and entusiastic that they can run some shops on own initiative now and then too, but perhaps some timing would help on the structure? If we planned that every sunday from 14-18 we had open market, where a couple rode around in Stormwind, advertising for the vendors to make people attracted, then the vendors would spread out and stand by each little wagon or booth. Somone could also, like at the "carnival" share out flowers and bards could call people to entertain with fairytales, funny songs or so. It would be something we often will run - if people want to. 2-3 people wont be anough, as you also mentioned

I actually have lost my believe in actually run such things or plays, since people are SO dependant on each other's attention. If somone does not arrive by accident, what then? Yet, a theater play would be more handicapped than a circus, since we could always just change the program and cut out the absent people. Anyway, it'll be when we are bigger

| 9. Snowball Fight! It's soon winter's veil and then there's loose snow everywhere so that we could arrange a guided tour through the landscape and end with one big snowballfight. Perhaps make a raidgroup and plan some surprising moments on the guided tour | |
