| Subject: Third audition - thursday July the 24th Tue Jul 22, 2008 8:10 am | |
| On Thursday the 24th of July at 8 o‘clock in the evening, the Fablewind Faire will be hosting an audition in the theatre in the Dwarven District of Stormwind. We’ll be looking for talented actors to act out various classic plays found in the depths of the archives in the Stormwind Library, such as “Beauty and the Beast“ and “Snowwhite and the Seven Dwarves”. So, bring your voice, your talent and your imagination, impress our judges, and who knows, perhaps you will be the lead actor of our show!
What we expect from you: - That you fully grasp and understand the Common language. - That you are ready to commit yourself to whichever role you may be given. - That you accept that your wage will depend on how well the play is received by the audience. - That you are social and able to work with a team of actors.
Other points of notice: - All races are welcome! - The auditions will be supervised by two to three judges and any eventual bystanders.
See you on thursday!
Your sincerily

(( OOC information; Due to the nature of an event like this, there’s a few things to note. For one, there will be a lot of emoting included in the plays - hence, one of the most important things to practice is writing long, descriptive emotes with if not perfect then at least very reasonable grammar. Also, due to the items that we may request that you acquire or hand out to you, a level of 20-30 or above is recommended.
Furthermore, you’ll have to be able to set off up to an hour (sometimes two) at a time for the roleplay sessions that these auditions hopefully will lead to. Also, do note that becoming an actor for these plays do -not- require you to sign up with the faire!
Apart from that, bring your good moods. Think American Idol - We aim to make these auditions just as memorable and fun as the “worst” there, so feel free to show up even if you don’t think that your character has the faintest chance of passing! And also, bystanders are most welcome!
On a last, but not least important note, joining the guild is not required! )) | |
